The Shoshone County Noxious Weed Control Department assists the public and government agencies with identification and control methods for noxious weeds.

Our services include:
  • Free weed identification booklets
  • Neighborhood Cooperative Cost-Share program assists with herbicide, fertilizer and seed costs
  • Equipment loan-out program, including 1 and 3-gallon residential sprayers, 3-gallon backpack sprayers, ATV mounted spray tanks, and horseback sprayers
  • Answer your weed questions by phone, fax or email
